DMC Corporate Philosophy

The core of Du Marche Capital's   professional philosophy is that the best interest of our clients are paramount; our own success as Corporate Strategists depends upon the satisfactory achievement of our client's objectives and the reputation we have with clients for the quality of the service provided. Consistent with that primary focus, we have adopted a number of policies which in our view, are essential to achieve success in our highly specialised field. Our Code of Ethics has been derived from personal business ethics, personal standards and relevant professional standards.

We seek to restrict the number of clients in any one particular field in order to avoid potential conflicts of interest which might limit the scope of our developing a strategy for your company. This attitude ensures the highest level of commitment and service.

  • We are open and frank regarding any perceived conflicts of interest. These will be discussed and resolved in principle before any project or assignment is accepted.

  • We express a preference for a close involvement with our clients. We limit the number of projects accepted at any one time and based on our lengthy experience in the corporate sector, will only accept an assignment that we feel we are professionally competent to undertake.

  • We deliberately avoid publicity believing that anonymity can most effectively service our client's interests.

  • Du Marche in Australia operates from a contained base in Melbourne, offering a personalised service from a small number of senior executives. We maintain the latest communication link-ups with our foreign offices; the emphasis at all times being on cost containment and efficiency.

  • We are professional pragmatists who recognise the specialist nature of the task and the need for the highest levels of understanding, service, timing and confidentiality. From the onset of any discussions we position agreements of confidentiality in both directors and release minimal information under the same covenant.

  • We utilise a core of highly mobile and experienced personnel for the examination and direction of all matters relating to a particular project, back up by an individual Director reporting to the Board of Management of Du Marche, which in turn provides support and direction to external expertise.
